Don’t Expect Your Winterberries To Last

Winterberries are called that for a reason.  And left to their own, they can remain on their branches through the winter.  But like the berries of other hollies ( Ilex ssp.), winterberries are a favorite of a variety of birds, such as robins, mockingbirds, catbirds, and even some unexpected species like white-throated sparrows.
